Horizontal arrow in single-colour black, 5 sizes from 2.56 to 5.49 inches wide. The arrowhead points left, the word explore runs along the shaft in a relaxed hand-lettered script, and a little heart sits right next to the tip. On the tail end three large feathers hang down from bead chains at different lengths, and a small spiral symbol drops below the shaft on the left side. The feathers are fully filled with texture lines, the beads and chains are fine outline work.

My friend stitched the 4-inch version on a canvas backpack last summer and it held up really well even after regular use. Its one of those designs that just works on earthy fabrics. The stitch count runs from 7,160 up to 16,144 at the largest size, so use a cutaway stabiliser on anything structural like bags. Stitch it on denim or canvas if you want those filled feathers to really show up. The small 2.56 inch size works well on a shirt cuff or jacket collar. Just one colour so theres no thread swapping mid-run at all.

Pop it on linen or natural canvas for that washed-out boho look. Skip very thin fabrics, the feather sections need a stable base to sit flat. Dont rush the speed on the feather fill sections or youll get gaps. Text me through the shop messages if you need a different size and Ill sort it. Quite the statement. Really.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Canvas backpacks and adventurer bagsCutaway stabiliser on canvas bags holds the feather fill flat through regular wear and wash.
  • Boho-style denim jackets and veststhe 4 in piece sits well on a denim vest back yoke without overwhelming the fabric.
  • Travel journal covers and notebooksStitch on thick canvas journal covers for a travel keepsake that lasts for years.
  • Outdoor adventure cap back panelsThe 2.56 inch version fits on a structured cap back panel with room to spare.
  • Wanderer-themed bedroom throw pillowsCentred on a natural linen pillow the boho feel comes through even without colour.
  • Yoga bag and mat carry strap patchesWorks on thick yoga mat carry straps, use cutaway for stretch resistance.
  • Hiking boot camp sweatshirtsBack of a sweatshirt below the collar is a great placement for the 5-inch version.

Behind every stitch

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
