The whole heart is one colour. Thats the entire point of this one. Single orange thread, zero colour swaps, no stops except at the end. But inside the heart shape theres a full garden of autumn things crammed together: a round pumpkin with its stem, maple leaves with vein lines, oak leaves with those jagged lobes, little daisy blooms, clusters of small berries on thin stems and a few acorns scattered near the bottom. Each element has its own inner outline detail so the shapes dont just blob together into a flat orange patch. The contrast comes from the cream or white fabric showing through.

I been doing single-colour designs for a few years now and people are genuinely suprised by how much texture Wilcom EmbroideryStudio can pull from one thread. The density here sits at a friendly 11,417 stitches at 3.5 inches up to just over 20,804 at the 7-inch size, which is very manageable on any mid-range machine. 4 sizes total. Runs through on one bobbin, one spool. Last november a bunch of customers grabbed this for linen cushion gift sets and it hooped perfectly on medium-weight linen with a tearaway underneath.

Stitch on cream cotton, ivory linen, or oatmeal canvas for the best negative-space contrast. Skip anything orange or rust toned because the design disappears. Pop a 5-inch version on a natural linen tea towel and you get a really clean harvest-season result. Use a tearaway stabiliser on woven linen and cotton, switch to cutaway if youre hooping jersey. Pick the 3.5-inch for pocket embroidery or bib panels. Ping me if the file gives you any trouble loading, Ive had a couple of older Janome owners mention their software needed a quick conversion step and Im happy to sort it out.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Real estate agent fall listing photo props (framed hoops)Hoop the 7-inch in natural linen and frame it as a prop for autumn real estate listing photos.
  • Tea towels and kitchen linen for autumn gift setsPop the 4-inch on cream flour-sack tea towels and bundle 3 together as a housewarming or hostess gift in November.
  • Tote bags for school library book fairs in OctoberEmbroider on cotton canvas tote bags and donate a batch to the school library for october book fair shopping bags.
  • Cream linen cushion covers for seasonal home stagingPop the 6-inch on a beige linen cushion cover for home staging shoots, the warm orange reads as intentional seasonal decor.
  • Matching couple sweatshirts for autumn market strollsStitch matching 4-inch versions on sage sweatshirts for a couple heading to a farmers market, single colour keeps it minimal.
  • Nursery wall art for a harvest-themed playroom cornerHoop the 5-inch in a wooden ring and hang it in a playroom corner above harvest-theme picture books.
  • Craft fair greeting card inserts on felt panelsStitch the small 3.5 on a felt panel and sew it into a handmade greeting card for a craft fair autumn collection.

Behind every stitch

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
