Black boots with candy canes crossing behind them and holly spreading wide on both sides. Theyre not your typical christmas boots, the rounded patent toe look from the white highlight stitching gives them a proper shiny look, and the red cuffs give that classic elf boot feel without being too literal. The yellow spiral disc sitting between the boots is kinda the unexpected element that ties everything together without you quite being able to say why.

Five sizes from 2.51 in to 6.51 in, so its a versatile one. Stitch the 2.51 in version on a gift tag or a small zip pouch. Use the 5.51 in size on a sweatshirt chest or tote front where youve got room for the full composition to breathe. Tape a firm cutaway to the hoop before loading the fabric, the black boot fill runs dense at around 9,000 stitches in the larger sizes and lightweight cotton will shift without proper anchoring. Pop white topping over any textured fleece or velvet so those holly details dont sink.

A customer tried this last winter on a black canvas tote and sent me a photo. The boots almost disappear into the dark background and only the red canes and deep green leaves pop through, its one of those combinations that shouldnt work as well as it does. Stitch it on black felt and cut around the whole composition for an ornament with real drama.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
