Took me a while to nail the density on this one. The whole heart shape here packs dozens of individual red paw prints together, big ones round the outside edge and smaller ones filling the centre, all in a deep satin stitch. Then right at the top theres a pair of black cat ears poking up, and a reindeer antler headband sitting across em both. The nose and whiskers at the centre read clearly even on a 3.51 inch hooping. Its kinda like if your cat decided to cosplay as a reindeer for december, which is exactly the energy.

One customer ordered this on a natural canvas tote to give her vet as a christmas gift, which honestly is alot better than a box of chocolates. The 2-colour setup means only one colour change mid-stitch, so its genuinely quick to run on any home machine. Hoop with a medium cutaway to keep all those tight satin-filled paw shapes crisp, especially at the smaller sizes where the density sits around 631 stitches per square inch. At 7.51 inches the stitch count climbs to just over 32,000 so stick to a stable woven fabric, not stretchy jersey.

And the thing that makes it look less flat than you'd expect is the directional fill on each paw pad. Each pad angles slightly differently so the light catches across the heart shape and gives it real texture. Stitch it on fleece, canvas, denim or felt. Skip dark navy or dark green because the red disappears, cream or light tan is the sweet spot.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
