The bell sits in the middle and the holly wraps around both sides of it, leaves fanning out with those classic pointed tips. Four colours total: deep green for the leaves, red berries clustered at the base, a warm gold bell, and a small cream highlight that keeps the metal from looking flat. Its the kind of christmas design that reads clearly even at smaller sizes, which is why I keep coming back to it for holiday projects.

I built this file in Wilcom EmbroideryStudio with it running across 4 sizes from 2.5 inches up to 5.5 inches wide. Stitch count goes from around 2,953 up to 9,378 so even the bigger size isnt gonna bog down your machine. Back it with a medium cutaway stabiliser on most fabrics, cotton and linen especially. The satin fill on the bell needs a bit of density support or the sheen wont come out right.

One customer wrote in last christmas after stitching this on a cream linen table runner and it looked exactly like something from a holiday decor shop. I told her to hoop the linen with a layer of topping over it and the stitches sat right up. Thats the trick with natural weave fabrics. Four colour changes total so its a quick run even for a beginner.

Stitch it on a cream or white cotton shirt for the cleanest look. Avoid dark navy or forest green fabric unless you want the bell to do all the work. Works great centered on stockings, tea towels, gift bags, aprons. Pair it with a simple font monogram if you want to personalise the gift. Holler if anything isnt right with the file and I'll get a replacement out to you fast.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
