Deep green stocking body scattered with gold star outlines, red toe and heel, and a holly cluster at the cuff rim. The star pattern is what makes this one stand out from a plain stocking design, theyre not evenly spaced or identical in size, they feel hand-scattered, which gives the whole piece some visual rhythm. The 2-tone green fill keeps the body from looking flat and the gold threading shows up well even on dark background fabrics.

Four sizes, all mid-to-large. The 4.51 and 5.51 in sizes are the sweet spot, the star outlines stay readable and the holly cluster at the cuff looks properly proportioned. Use a firm cutaway stabiliser under the fabric before hooping, this design is layered and the red toe sections need a stable base alongside the dense green body fill. Stitch the 6.51 in version on green cotton twill and youve basically got a ready-to-sew stocking panel. Pop the smaller 3.51 in size on a gift tag or a label panel if you want a coordinating set.

Ive had customers do this, one customer stitched it onto green cotton fabric before sewing up an actual hanging stocking and said she got more compliments on it than any store-bought version she'd ever used. Others put it on a fleece panel and hang it as wall decor. Either way the colour combination reads as proper traditional christmas rather than novelty, so it gets used year after year.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
