Two fat little cats, one present, and alot of hat. The cat on the left has a white snowflake-print Santa hat tilted slightly forward and is sort of leaning on the cat next to it. The second cat has reindeer antlers, round cheeks, and one of those squinty happy expressions that looks like its been told very good news. Theres a striped red-and-white gift box wedged between them at the bottom right, and the whole scene is arranged in a vertical cluster rather than spread wide.
The colour build is 8 threads: chocolate brown tabby markings, a warm darker shade for the deeper body patches, near-black outlines, white for the hat base, red stripes and hat decoration, orange accent areas, and a soft blush pink on the inner ear and cheeks. Digitised through Wilcom EmbroideryStudio with the density held at 969 stitches per square inch, which is intentionally on the lighter side. That lower density is what gives the cats that airy illustrated feel instead of the heavy satin-filled look you'd get at higher counts. The fills breathe a lil.
A customer who ordered the 1.61-inch size ran it on a blush pink onesie for a Christmas morning photo. Said the cat markings read more like a warm caramel at that small scale, which I think suits the design better than the full-size version. Small sizes on onesie cotton absolutely need a soft cutaway stabiliser that wont irritate the babys skin when it's washed. Use a ballpoint needle on any knit so you dont snag the jersey.
The narrowest this design gets is 1.61 inches wide, so you can tuck it onto a onesie chest, a kids cap, or a small gift bag front without it overwhelming the piece. Run it on a blush or cream ground for the warmest read. Stitch, trim your jump threads close, and youre done. The 8 stops are clearly ordered and there arent any tricky registration points where you need to reposition mid-run.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
