This gnome was actually recieved really well when I first listed it last april, people who fish or know someone who fishes immediately get it. Seven colours, eight sizes, 3.34 to 7.14 inches wide and 3.51 to 7.51 tall. The density is only 77 which is deliberately soft for a gnome design, I wanted it to have that lil sketchy quality rather than looking like a block print. Stitch counts are light too, 10,718 at the small end and only 26,741 at the largest, so even on a slower home machine this runs quick.

Because the density is low, tearaway stabiliser actually works well on most fabrics here. Add it under stable woven cotton or canvas and it peels off clean. The fish on the line is a separate colour stop so you can swap it out if you want a different colour fish, Im suprised how often people ask about that when they see it. Pop a water-soluble topping on fleece or towelling so the beard satin stays sharp, the low density means it can sink on pile fabrics without the topping. Dont use a stabiliser lighter than medium tearaway on canvas or it wont register cleanly at the hat tip.

Fishing gifts, dad birthday presents, lake house decor, fishing club gear, thats the main crowd for this one. Ive had customers make whole sets of matching tote bags and aprons with this, which is easy because the stitch count is so low each one runs in about 12 minutes on a mid-range home machine. Use it on a medium-weight cotton or canvas for the cleanest result at any size.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
