Hearts rising upward at different scales, biggest ones anchoring the base, smaller ones tumbling up toward the top. Its 3 colours: a deep red for the larger hearts, coral for the mid-sized ones, and a soft blush pink for the smaller floaters near the top. Some of them are tilted slightly like theyre spinning as they drift, which is what gives this one a sense of actual movement rather than just a grid of shapes. The whole arrangement fits within a wide horizontal frame, 3 in to 7 in piecemeasured.

With a density of 653 this is one of the denser designs in this range. Stitch count hits 9,588 at the small end and 31,126 at the 7-in placement size. Youll want a firm cutaway stabiliser, anything less and the thread volume will pull the fabric out of shape. I digitised each heart individually so the 3 colour shades sit next to each other without bleeding. Hoop properly before you start, you dont want any shifting mid-run.

Last valentines I sold a bunch of these to customers making scatter-print style quilts, they were stitching 3 or 4 of the smaller 3.5 inch versions across a quilt panel. Text me if you want to know how to space them. Pop the larger size centred on a white tee and the floating effect reads as movement when the shirt moves. Works well on cream fleece for a warmer valentine gift too. Honestly I think the 3-colour range on cream fabric is where this one looks best.

Use the 4 inch size if youre putting it on a pocket flap, or go full 7.5 inches on a pillow cover. Skip dark wine or burgundy base fabric because the red hearts disappear into it.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
