I made this one with spring nurseries and easter projects in mind, a white bunny sitting in a ring of flowers with fourteen colour stops. Thats a higher colour count than most of my animal designs, but it was the only way to get the blush roses, lavender sprigs, and cream daisies all reading separately without muddying each other. Nine sizes from from a 3.5 to a 7.5 inches wide, stitch count from 1,017 up to 31,560. The density is a low 87 which keeps it soft and the fabric doesnt pucker even on finer materials.

I digitised the floral elements to sequence after the bunny body so they sit on top of the satin fill rather than underneath it, that way the petal edges have a proper raised look. Ive run this on quilting cotton, fine lawn fabric, and even lightweight fleece for a baby blanket project. Pick a lightweight tearaway stabiliser on fine fabrics, and go for cutaway on fleece or jersey so the flower satin doesnt shift through washing. Match your bobbin thread to the back of your fabric since youll be changing thread 14 times and any show-through gets noticed. Avoid pulling the tearaway fast or at an angle, at density 87 the stitching doesnt handle aggressive tearing well.

I had a customer write me last april after she'd done a valentines day set of tea towels, she used the 5-inch size on white cotton and said the colour mix was exactly what she needed, she was suprised how many shades fit on a tea towel without it looking crowded. Alot of people aswell use it for nursery hoop art, kids quilts, and spring tote bags. Run a test on a scrap of your chosen fabric before committing to the full item. Email me through the shop contact if any of the 14 colour stops dont match your thread range and Ill suggest substitutes.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
