Sketched out the concept as a portrait-format bunny face, the whole thing is head and ears only, nothing below the neck. The fur base stitches in cream with light grey underlay shading, then the bold black outline column stitches define the ear edges, the eye shapes, the nose, the lip split, and the whisker lines. Those black outline runs are doing most of the character work here, the face reads expressively even at the smaller sizes.

Wilcom EmbroideryStudio routed the 11 colour stops to minimise thread travel across the crown section, which is where alot of the detail sits. Youve got coral pink pompom-style flowers, teal fan-shaped blooms, a mustard gold daisy, small navy accent petals, pale sky blue filler heads, and tiny sage stems all packed into the crown band above the forehead. Density held at 809 so the crown florals sit raised without distorting the cream fur fill underneath.

I think this works best on baby items, it has that gentle but bold look that reads well on a blush onesie or a cream swaddle blanket. Last easter one customer hooped the 4-inch file on a newborn onesie, she said the floral crown stitches came out clean with a light tearaway stabiliser and a water-soluble topping over the cotton jersey. Skip the topping on woven cotton, you wont need it.

Use cutaway stabiliser on stretchy fabrics like jersey, a firm tearaway works fine on woven quilting cotton. Best to press from the reverse side with a thin pressing cloth after stitching, keeps the crown petals sitting upright.

5 sizes from 2.97 in wide up to 6.36 in. Message me if the file needs any adjustment and Ill fix it right away.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Hooped onto a blush onesie as a newborn easter giftThe 4-inch size centres on a 0-3 month onesie chest panel without touching the side seams
  • Stitched on a cream swaddle blanket corner for a baby showerRun the 5-inch size at the lower corner of a 47x47 inch muslin swaddle on woven cotton backing
  • Used on a kids t-shirt front for an easter outfitUse a firm cutaway under cotton jersey and water-soluble topping on the shirt surface
  • Embroidered onto a small canvas pouch as a spring accessoryThe 3-inch size fits a standard 5x7 inch canvas pouch front with room around the edges
  • Applied to a quilting square in an easter baby quiltThe 3-inch file works as a repeating block in a 12-patch baby quilt layout
  • Stitched on a cotton bib for an easter-themed gift setHoop the bib flat with medium cutaway; the smallest size at 2.97 inches clears the neck curve
  • Used on a hoop frame with linen backing as nursery wall artThe 5-inch size fills a 6-inch embroidery hoop with a 1-inch linen border showing

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
