Compass rose with 3-colour work: dark structural compass points with leaf-tipped ends, vivid green N E S W letters at the four cardinal positions and a floral mandala filling the centre. The centre is intricate, roses and petal clusters drawn in outline style with fine detail lines, not solid fill, so theres good breathing room through the design. Five sizes from 3.51 to 7.51 inches, 10,021 stitches at the smallest up to 20,053 at the largest.
My mum stitched the 6-inch version onto a white linen cushion cover and it looked realy smart, the green letters stood out beautifully against the near-black compass frame. Use a medium cutaway stabiliser on anything woven. Hoop with the design centred carefully, a compass shape reads off if its even slighly tilted. The three colour changes are green first, then the dark structure, then the floral detail lines inside.
Stitch on white or cream fabric so the green pops and the floral centre reads clearly. Skip dark base fabrics unless youre using a light thread for the outline sections. Pop it on a canvas bag for the traveller in your life. Natural. Outdoorsy. Doesnt shout.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
