13 colour terrier dog face made entirely from stylised leaves, petals and folk art floral shapes. The furs built up from individual leaf shapes layered together, two pink folk-style ears poking out the top, dark dot eyes, a tongue sticking out cheeky. A wreath of darker forest leaves frames the bottom like a collar.
13 colours layer up to make the mosaic, soft sage, olive, cream, peach, dusty pink, mustard, terracotta, oatmeal, all matte fills with thin black outline detail. Its designed to read as a dog face from across the room and a flower arrangement up close. Densitys topping 45k stitches at the largest size, alot of small individual elements need stable directional stitching to read clean.
I get loads of orders for it from cottagecore home decor shops and small pet boutiques. Last february a customer sent photos of 12 stitched onto matching tote bags for her boho pet store grand opening in austin, said theyd be back for more designs. Sweet folk art aesthetic shes going for.
Stitch on natural cotton, linen, oatmeal canvas or cream fleece for the cleanest folk art look. Skip bright fabrics here, the soft palettes gettin washed out. Use a cutaway stabiliser for stretch knits, tearaway works for wovens, designs wanting stability across all the small leaf shapes.
9 sizes from 3.5 to 7.5 inches wide. The 5 inch versions a sweet spot for tote bag fronts and tee placements, 7 inch and up shines on quilt panels and cushion covers. Smallest 3.5 inch loses some petal detail, Id stick with 4.5 inch and up.

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
