Little girl figure with an oversized flower crown that's nearly as big as she is, rendered in 5 pastel thread colours. Face is simplified, just enough to read as a character without getting fussy. The dress flows into botanical shapes, like petals and leaves growing out from the hemline and sleeves, so the whole silhouette has this garden fairy feel to it. Blush pink, sage green, warm cream, soft lilac and dusty rose sit together without clashing. Its the kind of colour palette that works on both pale and mid-tone fabrics.

Only 3 sizes available on this one, running from 6.01 to 8.01 inches wide, so its a proper centrepiece design rather than a pocket accent. Stitch count between 32,527 and 43,825, which is dense but Im glad Wilcom handled the flower crown detail because all those individual petal fills need clean edge lines to not bleed into each other. Height stays between 4.36 and 5.82 inches, which is wider than it is tall, a landscape-ish proportion that drops well on a shirt front or a tote bag panel.

My niece asked me last spring if I could put a flower girl on her new school bag. I used the smallest 6-inch size on her natural canvas backpack front panel. She wore it every day for the rest of term and I got 3 messages from other parents asking where she got the bag from. So yeah, this one travels well on kids gear.

Email me if you want to run it on performance fabric or anything with stretch, I can advise on the best stabiliser weight for your base. Stitch the large 8-inch size onto a cotton tote for a statement gift bag. Pop the medium version on a girls bedroom cushion cover in a matching pastel scheme. Lay medium cutaway behind cotton canvas to keep the dense flower crown fills from puckering at the centre.

The crown area has the highest density, so ease your machine speed there. Avoid super dark fabric because the cream thread reads muddy and the pastel palette loses its softness. Skip water-soluble topping on tight wovens, it isnt necessary here and just adds cleanup time.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
