A solid red heart sits right in the centre and everything else explodes out from it. Upward at the top, long flame-shaped fronds shoot straight up like the heart is on fire. To the sides, fat ornate leaf shapes and tight scroll tendrils curl outward. Below, heavier leaf clusters and more scrolling vines pull the design downward into a pointed base. It fills the hoop symmetrically, which is harder to do than it looks with this many moving parts.

Two colours only: hot pink for every frond, leaf and tendril, red for just the heart. Thats what gives it that graphic quality. The contrast between the deep red and the bright pink is doing a lot of heavy lifting. The heart itself is a clean dense satin fill, not outlined with a sketchy look, just solid and saturated. All the surrounding fronds are satin runs too so every element has that same rich consistent surface.

Six sizes from 3 inches up to 8. The 3-inch is a strong little design on its own. The 8-inch version is genuinely dramatic, the fronds reach almost to every edge of the hoop and it reads like a traditional tattoo flash piece or a folk art motif. Last valentines I had a customer buy the large size specifically for a framed hoop to hang in her sewing room, she said it reminded her of embroidery she saw at her grandmothers house growing up. Thats exactly the tone Im aiming for.

Pop it on white, cream, or soft ivory and both colours hit at full intensity. Try it on black fabric too if you want something more dramatic, that mood shift is pretty significant. Hoop with poly mesh on jersey or stretch fabrics. Use a standard tear-away for most wovens. Back the dense satin areas properly or youll get puckering at the frond tips where the fill density is highest.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
