Stiletto heel in profile view with a full floral pattern covering the body of the shoe. The shape is clean and pointy-toed, a proper stiletto with a tall narrow heel, and across the upper and side panel theres a close botanical print of small blooms and leaves filling the surface. All in a single thread colour, so the whole design reads as a high-contrast line-art piece. Just one colour change from start to finish.

Single colour means you can match it to literally anything. Black on white linen is the obvious classic, but dark navy on pale pink works really well for fashion projects, and cream thread on dark denim gives it a muted vintage feel. At 7.51 inches wide its a confident design that takes up real space. At the 3.51-inch end the floral detail compresses but the shoe silhouette and the hint of pattern still read clearly enough for small pouches or cuffs.

I drew the floral overlay style because shoe silhouettes alone can feel a bit flat and commercial. Adding a botanical print inside the shape is something Ive seen on printed textiles alot lately, and machine embroidery doesnt have many versions of it. Last month a buyer messaged me to say shed used the 6-inch version on a pale pink satin clutch bag and it came out looking exactly like printed fabric from a boutique. Thats pretty much the look I was going for with this one.

Best on pale or mid-tone fabric where the single colour thread pops. Avoid matching thread to fabric colour for obvious reasons. Density is very low at 361 so it stitches fast and sits flat, even on delicate fabric like light cotton or thin linen. Use a tearaway underneath rather than cutaway, the low stitch count doesnt need heavy stabilisation. Hoop fairly tight and keep the fabric smooth, any pull marks will show on the fine floral lines.

The running stitch outline on the floral details is the finest section. Dont rush the outline pass even though the density is low, slow down to about 80 percent and the line quality stays clean. Wilcom kept the thread paths efficient so theres minimal jumping between elements. Trim any floats at the end and the result should be neat with no messy thread tails inside the shoe outline.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
