This one took me a few rounds to get right. The paw print outline itself runs in a thick black satin stitch that gives the whole shape a really strong edge, the kind that reads clearly even from a metre away. But inside each section its a different story. Each toe pad has its own individual floral arrangement stitched in green outline. The upper left toe gets a full rose with petals spiralling inward. The upper right gets a daisy-type flower head with rounded petals. The two smaller side toes each have their own mixed cluster of leaves and smaller blooms. Then the main bottom pad has a fan-shaped arrangement with berry stems and leaf sprigs spreading out from the centre.

Two colour changes: the machine lays down all the black outline first, then switches to dark green and runs through every floral cluster without stopping. So its one colour change total and the file handles the routing efficiently, which is why the trim count stays manageable at 89 on the 7-inch. Stitch count goes from about 22k at 7-inch up to 32k at 10-inch, and that range reflects the increased detail as the floral outlines scale up. Youre getting alot of stitching for the price.

Send it to a tee shirt and the white fabric between the flowers does most of the visual work. Im honestly kinda suprised by how much the negative space matters here. Pale colours work best. A customer messaged last autumn after sewing the 9-inch onto a white hoodie for her sister's nursery and said the combination of the bold black paw and the delicate green roses inside looked like something from a boutique shop. Stitch on heavy cutaway stabiliser for knit fabrics. On woven cotton a medium cutaway is fine.

Send me a note if you hit any trouble with the file and Ill fix it up for you.

Behind every stitch

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
