The pumpkin here is really just a container for the flowers. A terracotta satin outline defines the outer silhouette running the classic pumpkin rib shape, and inside that outline the whole space packs with a tight botanical arrangement: small dusty rose blooms with concentric satin petals, warm ivory daisy-style flowers, coral accent flowers tucked into the gaps, and sage green leaves and stems winding between everything. The curled stem on top is the only part that looks like a traditional pumpkin element.

Its a dense design, 942 stitches in each square inch, on the heavier end, youll feel it when you see the stitch count: 15,808 at the smallest size up to 40,835 at the 5.78-inch width. That density is exactly what makes it look so full and rich when its done. The flowers genuinely look like flowers because Wilcom built proper multi-ring satin petals with directional stitch angles that catch light differently depending on where you hold the finished piece. Im genuinely proud of how the corner roses came out in this one. Each rose has 4 to 5 concentric satin rings that give the petals real depth. Last autumn a customer ordered the 5.78-inch version for a farmhouse autumn cushion and she messaged back saying it was the nicest floral she had ever stitched, she could feel the petal layers when she ran her finger over it. The density also means ya need to respect the stabiliser.

Use a medium to heavy cutaway on anything with stretch. Woven linen or cotton can handle a firm tearaway but stay on the heavier side for anything going near seams. Hoop your fabric snug, the floral interior will drift and register badly if theres any give in the frame. Keep your bobbin topped up because the underlay alone pulls a surprising amount of thread on the largest size.
