Built this one around a harvest pumpkin that a garden basically grew over, vines wrapping outward from behind it until they fill the whole frame. The pumpkin sits centre with rounded ribs and a curling dark stem, and the green botanical vines radiate out in all directions with flat leaves and little orange flower buds scattered through the vine work. Its a very full composition, theres no empty space left in the frame once you stitch it.

One customer ordered the 7-inch version for a set of autumn placemats and told me it took a while per mat but they looked like something from a shop window. Pop a heavy cutaway stabiliser under the fabric before hooping cos the density is 716 stitches per square centimetre and the vine fill runs corner to corner. Use only 4 thread colours total, so the change count is manageable even with 38,000 stitches at the largest size. Stitch the pumpkin body first, then the vine sections outward, so any registration shift stays in the less-visible edges.

Five sizes in the download, 3.33 to 7.12 inches wide. Its roughly square in its proportions, so it drops onto bag fronts, cushion covers and sweatshirt chests without cropping. On cream linen the orange and green palette reads fall without going full halloween, which means it works through thanksgiving and into early december too.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Autumn placemats and seasonal table linenThe 7-inch version fills a 14x18 placemat center beautifully, the botanical spread uses the rectangle well.
  • Fall tote bags for farmers markets or harvest seasonOn a natural canvas tote the orange-green palette reads like a printed fabric design at a glance.
  • Thanksgiving throw pillows and cushion coversAs a pillow front on a 18x18 cushion the vines reach comfortably to the edge without feeling cramped.
  • Botanical-themed embroidery hoop wall artStitch on natural linen and mount in a 10-inch hoop, the vine work reads really well as wall art.
  • Seasonal kitchen towels and dish clothsThe botanical vines wrap around the pumpkin in a way that suits a half-apron or a tea towel hem.
  • Sweatshirt fronts for fall and thanksgivingOn a cream sweatshirt centered on the chest the 4-inch version reads fall without going full halloween.
  • Quilted wall hangings with a harvest themeUse repeating 4-inch blocks in a quilted hanging with cream sashing between panels for a harvest grid.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
