She's holding her own face in both hands, eyes closed, and theres this whole explosion of flowers and feathers growing out of the top of her head. Big open blooms, long narrow leaves, feather plumes, all drawn in that fine botanical illustration style where the detail sits in the line, not the fill. Nothing solid, its all outline and texture, which is what gives it that airy quality when it stitches out.

One colour, black thread, no colour changes at all. Stitch count is on the lighter side, 3,936 on the 4-inch and 6,392 on the 8-inch, so this stitches quick for how detailed it looks. Density at 108 means fine running paths doing most the work, not heavy fill sections. You need a stable fabric and good tension for delicate work like this, any shifting in the hoop and the thin lines will wander.

I get a lot of messages from women who run small clothing labels and boutiques asking about this one. Last spring a customer told me she'd had it stitched on her whole range of linen tops and it sold out within a week. They use it on tees, on tote bags, on apparel, and a few have used it as their actual brand graphic on packaging.

Best results on tight woven cotton, linen or chambray. The 8-inch on a tee gives you a real art-print scale and every detail in the floral crown shows properly. Use topping on textured fabric to stop the running paths sinking, tearaway underneath on woven fabrics. Cutaway stabiliser on jersey and stretchy knits, dont skip it. Slow the machine speed on the petal sections, the directional passes need time to register.

Keep your bobbin thread tension just slightly looser than normal for this kind of running stitch work, it keeps the top thread sitting flat without pulling at the fine curves. And if it doesnt look right on your first pass, just re-run the upper section slower and itll tighten up. Text me through the shop if you hit any problems with the file and I'll get back to you quickly.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
