I designed this wreath specifically for projects where you need a botanical circle motif thats not too literal and not too modern, kinda just sits in that nice middle ground between cottage and contemporary. Its 13317 stitches, nine colours, digitised in Wilcom at density 176. The ring measures 3.51 inches wide, so its gonna sit nicely as a centred design on cushion covers, aprons, or a front-panel placement on a tote. I sent it out to a few customers doing wedding keepsakes last february and the response was genuinely good.

Use cutaway stabiliser on this, 13317 stitches is a lil too heavy for tearaway on anything knit or loosely woven. Hoop your fabric firm, run an underlay pass first so the leaves have a clean base. The satin fills on the rose petals are directional so if you slow your machine to around 700 spm you get much smoother petal shapes. Pair the sage green leaf thread with a warm grey-green in the bobbin to balance the back. Avoid placing it on a printed fabric, nine colours need a clear background to read properly.

People have been using this design on cushion covers, linen bags, framed hoop art, and personalised tea towels. Its not seasonal, so ya get year-round use out of it. Stitch it on a 12-inch hoop of natural linen and frame it, looks like a proper botanical print. Use a 75/11 needle for cotton, step up to 80/12 on canvas weight. The flower cluster areas have alot of colour stops, count them before you start so you dont run out of a colour halfway through the petals.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Centred cushion cover front panelCushion cover centrepiece on natural linen, wedding keepsake customers specifically came back to tell me this one landed well.
  • Linen tote bag centre placementLinen tote bag front panel where the organic wreath shape reads differently from a graphic or text-based design.
  • Personalised tea towel corner accentPersonalised tea towel corner in white cotton, the botanical circle motif suits contemporary kitchen decor year-round.
  • Framed hoop wall art on natural linenHoop wall art on natural linen in a 10-inch frame, left in the wooden hoop as the finished display.
  • Wedding keepsake gift pouchWedding gift canvas pouch in ivory cotton, the nine-colour botanical palette reads elegantly on a pale ground.
  • Quilted table centrepiece matLinen apron bib upper panel in oat or sage, the wreath suits a kitchen or garden context without seasonal limits.
  • Linen apron bib embroideryQuilted table mat centrepiece, the circular composition fills the square panel with room for quilted border around.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
