Heres the Flower Fairy and shes one of my favourites in the fantasy collection. A blonde fairy with her hair tied up in a soft bun, a pink hibiscus tucked behind her ear, chin resting on her hands like shes daydreaming. The cluster of pink hibiscus blooms in front of her ground the whole composition.

The wings took the longest to digitise. Pale grey-blue with all those swirly directional line patterns running inside the panels, they look like translucent butterfly wings catching the light. They span almost the full width of the design so once its hooped and stitched out the wings are the first thing your eye lands on.

Colour palette is honestly really pretty. Blonde hair, soft peach skin, three shades of pink for the hibiscus petals, two greens for the leaves and her bodice, plus that grey-blue across the wings. Eleven thread colours which is alot but every one earns its spot.

This is a big design. The largest size hits 10.51 inches tall, definitely a back-of-jacket or pillow front kind of motif. Last christmas a customer ordered it for her daughters bedroom curtain and sent me a picture of the kid sitting underneath looking up at the wings. People keep ordering it for fairy themed birthday party tees, nursery wall art and baby blankets.

Dense work at 100k+ stitches so use a heavy cutaway stabiliser and slow the machine speed down on the wings. Hoop firmly with a fresh sharp needle. Stitch on cream, white, soft pink, lavender or sage cotton, the pale wings need a calm fabric or they vanish. Skip dark navy or charcoal. Pair the 10 inch hoop size with a 16 inch pillow form for instant nursery decor.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
