So this bunny looks like it just stuck its paw in a power socket, in the best possible way. It's standing up straight, full body front-facing, but the fur isn't sitting flat at all. Long individual strands shoot out in every direction, radiating away from the body like a dandelion with ears. The whole silhouette runs jagged and spiky which is what makes it different from every other cartoon bunny out there.

Fur runs in layered long-stitch fills, warm tawny brown with darker strand tips, built up in passes so there's real depth to it. The inner ears carry a warmer golden brown with a smoother fill to contrast the chaos outside. Two round eyes take up a decent chunk of the face, pale blue irises with dark pupils and a small highlight stitch each. Orange-red satin dot for the nose. And then there's the bow tie, a proper navy blue bow tie sitting at the base of the neck, neat and tidy while everything above it goes completely unhinged. That contrast is honestly what makes it funny.

Twelve colour changes, density at 1,331 per square inch. The largest size hits 65,070 stitches, so budget your machine time on the 6.52 by 7.5 size. Nine sizes total from 3.03 by 3.5 inches up to the maximum. Use a firm medium-weight cutaway stabiliser and hoop tight. Float a topping on anything with a pile or loose weave because the long fur strands will sink into texture and disappear.

Easter and spring orders spike heavily for this one. I've had customers tell me theyre buying it once for the kids and once for themselves, and thats honestly the most common pattern I see. its one of the builds where you stitch it, look at it finished and think yeah, thats going on my beret. Stitch it on a beret, a tote, a hoodie back, doesnt matter, it always reads as a proper personality choice. Reach out if the fur-strand direction looks bunched in any section and Ill sort the colour run order.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Kids bedroom cushion as a quirky focal pieceCenter the 6-inch on a cream fleece cushion and it becomes the whole personality of a kids bedroom corner
  • Toddler hoodie back panel for Easter or springPlace the 5-inch on the back of a toddler hoodie so the wild fur fans out under the collar for an Easter outfit that actually gets noticed
  • Novelty tote bag for a book club or craft groupStitch the medium on a canvas tote in a warm tan and give it to someone in your book club who has a sense of humour
  • Baby shower gift with a funny themeUse the small size on a white onesie for a funny baby shower gift alongside a card, works well for friends who dont want another generic neutral set
  • Childs bedroom door hanger on stiff feltCut stiff felt into a rectangle, stitch the 4-inch in the centre and add ribbon loops for a personalised childs door hanger
  • Kawaii-themed wall hoop displayMount the 5-inch in a 6-inch hoop and hang three of them together at different heights for a kawaii nursery wall cluster
  • Pyjama front for a kids Easter morning lookStitch the small on the front of pale blue pyjamas for a kids Easter morning look that doesnt take itself seriously
  • Adults beret or bucket hat for a playful fashion statementPut the medium on a black beret in contrast cream thread for an adults statement piece that reads fashion not novelty

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
