Big wide-eyed kitten sitting up, body all black and grey with fur spiking out everywhere like its just been zapped. The pink nose really really sells the cute factor and the eyes are huge and round, kinda startled looking. Pink inner ears too, lil triangles peeking through the wild fur halo around the head.
Five colours total. Mostly black for the outer fur and outline, two greys (R84 G83 B84 and a softer shade) for the body fill and shadow, white for the eye highlights and belly fluff, and a coral pink R250 G91 B83 for the nose and inner ears. The grey fur is dense, sitting near 997 stitches per square inch where the kitten sits widest so this is gonna need real backing. Theres no skimping on stabiliser here.
One customer last winter ordered this kitten on a fleece pet blanket as a memorial piece for her cat that passed. Made me kinda emotional honestly, she sent a photo of the finished blanket and the resemblance was uncanny. Since then ya I been getting orders from cat folks who want fluffy black kitties on hoodies and totes.
Stitch counts run from 18,009 on the smallest 3.5 inch size up to 53,837 on the 7.49 inch hoop size. Nine sizes total. Best on a smooth flat fabric, so a cotton sweatshirt fleece or a tight-knit jumper will work best. Skip terry cloth or anything fluffy because the fur spikes need a clean ground to read against.
Heavy cutaway stabiliser is non-negotiable here, the kitten body is a real density bomb at the largest size. Hoop tight, slow the machine through the fur spike sections, and use a sharp 75/11 needle. Theres 44 trims so factor in the snip time. Fur reads brilliant on charcoal or navy fabric, the white belly highlight pops nicely against dark grounds.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
