The flying eagle in full hunt-strike pose. Both wings spread wide, head turned forward, sharp orange beak ready, talons curled forward in attack position. Individual feather lines visible right across the wing span, no shortcuts. Pale grey wing tips against a walnut brown body, golden tan highlights on the chest underneath, and the whole bird isnt symmetrical, theres a slight head tilt that makes him feel alive.

Direction work on the feathers really makes this one stand out. Satin and running stitch layered across each wing flight feather, the lines all follow the natural shaft direction so when you tilt the finished embroidery in the light it actually shimmers like a real raptor wing. The body fills dense with fine outlined feather tips, vivid orange beak and talons, off-white markings on the head and tail base. 5 colours that look like 12, which honestly thats the magic of good directional stitching.

I drew it last november for a hunting club uniform run. The chairman wanted something fiercer than the usual perched eagle, he kept saying mid-strike, not standing still. Thats what he got. Now I see it on alot of camo jackets and outdoor brand totes round my way, doesnt go quiet.

Comes in 5 sizes from 3.51 inch up to 4.51 inch tall and 3.49 to 4.48 inch wide. Smallest works as a left chest mark on a hunting jacket or polo. Largest centres on a tote or back panel. Stitch counts run 27k to 57k so the larger sizes are dense, plan a second bobbin.

Best on canvas, denim, twill, brushed cotton, heavyweight tote material aswell. Slip cutaway under any tee jersey because the feather satin pulls the knit. Pop tearaway under denim and canvas. Skip waffle and chenille, the loops eat the feather edge precision, isnt forgiving. Stiff stabiliser matters more than usual here, dont skimp.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
