So this is a whimsical fantasy fairy figure caught mid-leap on a 5 inch wide cream linen swatch. One arm stretched high, the other curled across her waist. Royal blue dress, short and draped, uneven hem. Balanced on pointed slipper toes. Skin runs soft beige fill, hair is dark brown pulled into a low bun. Wings are the showpiece, big butterfly-style with black outer panels fading into soft grey inner sections, spread wide behind her like shes about to lift off.
I get messages from costume folks and ballet mums every spring about magical fairy designs, drew this one last february for that crowd. The wings use directional satin stitch so the grey panels catch the light from different angles. Her dress runs in smooth solid royal with darker shadow work picking out the folds. Wilcom-digitised so the satin column work along the dress edges stays clean even on small hoops.
Stitch on cream linen tote or a pale lilac tee, the blue gown pops nicely against warm pastels. White cotton works too if you wanna keep it crisp. Avoid printed cloth here, the wings have a lot of detail and patterned background just muddies em.
Best size for a tee front is the mid 5 inch wide version. The full nine inch listing means youve got bigger options for canvas bags and zipper pouches too. Smallest is three and a half inch wide and Ill say it fits a kids onesie nice. Use tearaway on lightweight knits, switch to cutaway when youre stitching on canvas.
Honestly the wing section is the densest part so slow down your machine speed setting. Any grief on the colour change between the wing panels, drop me a line and Ill have a look.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
