Three swallows, different sizes, angled diagonally across the design space like theyre catching the same thermal. The biggest bird sits at the top right, wings fully outstretched. Below and to the left come two more, each one smaller, that sense of birds receding into the distance without actually drawing a horizon line or background. Its a clean compositional trick and it works.
The body colour on each bird is that classic swallow combination: powder blue and steel blue across the back and wing tops, peach-salmon on the chest, navy on the wing edges and tail fork, with white and a touch of dark maroon for detail and eye markings. Eight colours total, 7 thread changes. Stitch count runs from just 7,700 on the 3.5 micro layout to about 20,000 stitches on 7-in jumbo.5-inch version. Low density means this runs fast on most machines.
I get questions about this one from people doing spring and early summer apparel, mostly because swallows have that warm-weather, open-sky feeling. Last april a customer bought the sleeve-layout files specifically for a small-batch run of linen shirts she was selling at a craft market. She said they sold out before noon. Email me if anything in the files doesnt load correctly testing and Ill sort it same afternoon.
Works on practically anything. Cotton, chambray, linen, light denim all come out well. Try the tall diagonal layout on a shirt sleeve running down from shoulder to cuff. Tearaway stabiliser is fine on woven fabric. The narrow width on the smallest sizes, just 1.85 inches tall, means you can pop em on collar points or cuffs without it feeling crowded. Email me a photo if the feather lines look uneven after stitch-out and Ill rework the punch fast.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
