Four baby ducks, single file, all moving the same direction along a gentle water line. Side view, each duck a round little body with a stubby tail, soft yellow fill for the feathers, orange bill and tiny feet, and a blue-grey water ripple beneath each one. Eight colours total. The digitiser kept the individual duck shapes compact and clean so even the smallest sizes read as four distinct ducks rather than a yellow smear.

Nine sizes, but the width range is narrow, 0.8 inch to 1.5 inch wide, and the height runs 4.5 to 8.5 inches tall. Its a vertical border design. The four ducks line up in a column rather than horizontally which makes it great for going along a baby bib edge, running along a nursery curtain hem, or marching along the sleeve of a childs jacket. Stitch count is 6.7k to 13.7k, genuinely fast stitching across all sizes.

Hoop on a good cutaway stabiliser for baby items. Anything going on knit like jersey onesies or bamboo bibs needs a stretch cutaway to stop the duck row pulling or distorting mid-hoop. Tear-away works fine on woven cotton or linen. Use a topping mesh on terry towelling bibs so the orange bills and the feather fills register clearly through the loop pile. Dont skip the topping on terry or youll lose all that fine beak and feet detail.

My sister ordered this one last spring for her daughters nursery and had it stitched along the edge of cream linen curtains. Four ducks marching on each curtain panel. She sent photos and its honestly the sweetest thing. Stitch on cream, white, or soft mint cotton and the yellow ducks pop without overwhelming the colour palette. Skip anything bright or patterned where those 8 subtle tones get swallowed up.

Pick the right size for the project and the ducks scale nicely from tiny bib accents at the smallest all the way to a meaningful curtain or wall piece at the tall end.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
