This one's gonna resonate if you've got a customer base heavy on frenchie mums. The design is a front-facing sitting bulldog, properly chubby the way they actually are, with those big ears sticking up and the squashed nose -- and its completely wrapped in a tangle of warm white christmas lights like someone thought it would be funny to decorate the dog. Honestly it kinda is. 7 colour stops in total including the pied black-and-white coat pattern.
Built this through Wilcom EmbroideryStudio. I spent a bit of time on the fur direction -- directional satin on the body so the stitches follow the natural coat growth lines rather than going flat. The underlay keeps everything anchored. Density sits at 241, which is right for a pied coat because you need enough coverage to show the colour contrast clearly without making the piece stiff. Stitch count goes from 5,155 at 3.5 inches up to 10,855 at the full 7.5-inch hoop. Medium cutaway stabiliser works well on most knit and woven bases.
Send it on a cream or off-white tee and the warm-white bulb glow just blends into the fabric in the nicest way -- its subtle without being boring. Also looks great on natural linen. Avoid very dark backgrounds here because the cream-white bulb tones disappear. The 5.5-inch size sits perfectly on a standard sweatshirt chest placement.
Use a topping on any fabric with texture or pile -- velvet, towelling, anything with a raised surface -- so those ear stitches stay sharp. 5 sizes, 3.5 x 2.81 inches through to 7.5 x 6.01 inches. Send me a message if anything isnt right with the download.
What people are using this design for
A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.
- Christmas tee shirts for French Bulldog ownersCream tee fabric is the ideal base, the warm-white light glow merges softly with the background.
- Holiday dog-themed gift bags and wrappingA customer used the 4.5-inch version on linen gift bags she filled with dog treats for neighbours.
- Frenchie-specific festive tote bagsNatural linen totes stitch up cleanly with a medium cutaway and standard hooping, no topping needed.
- Pet portrait stockings above the fireplacePet stockings benefit from the largest 7.5-inch size so the frenchie face is recognisable from across the room.
- Dog club or breeder Christmas event merchandiseBreeders often need 10 or more of the same design for an event -- the clean satin fill holds up to repeat runs.
- Kids sweatshirts with the family frenchie themeKids sweatshirt sizes need the 3.5 or 4.5-inch version -- check your hoop clearance for smaller garments.
- Personalised dog bandanas for holiday photosCotton bandana fabric is thin so use a lightweight tearaway and stitch slowly through the ear fills.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
