Pulled this one together as the most straightforward web in the set. Its a fully symmetric design with the spider parked right at the centre where all the spokes converge. Alot of halloween web designs put the spider off to one side but this one keeps it planted dead-centre, which gives it a very deliberate, almost geometric look. The web fans out evenly all the way round, concentric rings spacing out cleanly toward the edges.

Single black thread. The spider body is a tight satin fill with 3 trims total, density sits at 83 so the thread coverage is solid without going stiff on mid-weight fabrics. Runs from 1.4 inches wide up to 4.2 inches, six sizes, stitches from 1,070 to 2,603. Works hooped on a standard 4x4 hoop for most sizes. Im digitising these with Wilcom EmbroideryStudio so the underlay is set properly for woven cotton and light fleece without a topping.

One customer ran the 2.5 in size on a black felt trick-or-treat bag last October and it turned out really clean. But honestly it works on loads of things. Use heavy cutaway stabiliser if youre going onto knit fabric, the web lines are thin and theyll pull on anything stretchy without it.

Stitch it on black or orange cotton for the most impact. Run cutaway backing on any stretch fabric you choose. Skip lightweight tearaway under the radial threads because theyll shift with any fabric movement. Holler if anything looks off once you stitch it out and Ill sort it.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Halloween tote bags and trick-or-treat candy bagsThe symmetric layout centres perfectly on flat bag panels, no repositioning needed
  • Black or orange fleece hoodies and zip-up jacketsLooks sharp on black fleece with the satin spider body reading clearly against the pile
  • Spooky throw pillows and cushion coversSmall sizes fit neatly in pillow corner zones without dominating the design
  • Kids halloween costumes and capesLightweight at 1,070 stitches minimum so it sits flat on costume-weight polyester
  • Party table runners and cloth napkinsThe 4.2-inch size fills a table runner width nicely when repeated in a row
  • Fabric gift bags and wine bottle wrapsThe compact 1.4-inch version fits the narrow panel of a wine bag without distortion

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
