Mocked up this one as a complete little beach scene, not just a word design. Theres a dark green palm tree in the top left corner, an orange half-sun poking up behind it, and three black starfish scattered loosely through the middle section where the lettering lives. The words "Life is Better at the Beach" run in two styles, the "Life" word is a big script with a brushstroke feel and the lower text sits in a bold upright lettering, all in blue. Wave lines at the bottom finish it off. Five colours total: dark green, blue, black, teal and orange.
I used Wilcom for the build and the tricky bit was getting the palm tree fronds to stitch clean at the smaller 4-inch size. At 4 inches wide theres 11,205 stitches which is actually pretty light for a 5-colour design, density sits at 471 which means the stitches are spaced well and wont cause puckering on lighter fabrics. The 7-inch version pushes up to 21,549 stitches with 5 colour changes across 4 stops. Use a tearaway stabiliser on woven cotton, dont need the heavy stuff for this one.
Customers keep asking me about this one specifically for tea towels and kitchen linens, and I understand why because the colours are warm and summery without being neon. One customer send me a message this spring after stitching the 5-in build on flour-sack towel in white and the warm orange and aqua tones just looked brilliant. Stitch on low to medium density fabrics and the design breathes nicely.
Run it on tote bags, kitchen towels, beach cover-ups, kids shirts, and summer cushion covers. Pick a light-coloured fabric so all five colours read clearly. Use medium-weight tearaway for quilting cotton and cutaway for anything stretchy like a jersey beach cover-up.

- Coastal throw pillow coversThe 7-inch version fills a linen pillow cover for a relaxed coastal living room look.
- Beach cover-ups and sarongsOn a light jersey beach cover-up use cutaway backing so the design doesnt stretch out.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
