Honestly this is a bunch of chicken personality in a fairly small design. Round fluffy body, big red comb flopped to one side, little strutting legs with orange feet, and the wing feathers done in this lil decorative multicolour style where ya can see teal and blue-green and warm yellow all layered up. Doesnt look like a real chicken, its more of an interpretation of the idea of a confident happy chicken.

5 sizes from 3.5 inches to 7.5 inches, stitch count from 21,922 up to 60,317. 14 colours, density 1,090. The comb is done in satin to get that waxy red look and the body fill uses directional stitching to suggest feather texture rather than just flat fill. Thats one of those details that separates a good digitised cartoon from a flat printed-looking one.

People have been ordering this for Easter and spring market stuff last season. One customer ordered 3 dozen tote bags stitched with this for a farm shop opening and said the feedback was great. Good for any farmyard-adjacent project.

Use a cutaway stabiliser here, 14 colour changes on any fabric smaller than a metre needs a stable base so nothing shifts mid-project. Cotton, canvas, denim, linen all work well. Try it on cream or white for the classic farmyard look, or go dark navy for a more graphic feel. Stitch the large version on a kitchen apron for maximum fun.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
