Worked up this version of Mr Steal Your Heart with a completely different palette and letter style. Instead of the flowing cursive in dark tones, this one uses a more upright blocky serif font in forest green with red hearts and black outlines. Mr sits at the top in chunky letters, Steal takes the middle in the biggest script of the lot, your comes smaller and print, heart finishes at the bottom in script with red fill. A small love bag at lower right has hearts spilling out of it, and fine lines connect dangling heart garlands that curve around the outside of the composition.

3 colours, and its the green that makes this stand out. The lettering stitches with directional fill so you get a lil texture variation across each letter surface rather than a flat block of colour. Red thread handles all the hearts, the little dangling ones on the garlands and the bigger ones near the bag. Dont underestimate how fast this one stitches, counts run from nine thousand ish at the smallest up to about 22,400 at the 7.51 inch size, which is lighter than youd expect for a design with this many elements.

Square proportions at all five sizes, both width and height run 3.51 to 7.51 inches, so centering and hooping is really straightforward. Pop it on a plain white tee, a cream cotton tote, or a light grey fleece and the green stands out without needing a bright background. Back with tearaway on woven cotton, cutaway on any stretch. One customer suprised me by stitching this on a green linen apron which honestly looked really good since the lettering blended slightly into the background and made the red hearts the stars.

Choose this one over the darker version if you want something that feels less like a valentines card and more like a year round playful piece. Great for the person who wants a love-themed design but doesnt want full-on holiday red. Avoid dark green or forest coloured fabrics where the lettering will disappear.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Cotton or canvas tote bagsThe green and red palette on a natural canvas tote looks festive without reading as overtly valentines day, making it useful year round.
  • Light grey or cream fleece hoodiesCentred on a cream or light grey fleece hoodie the forest green lettering has excellent contrast and the red hearts give it warmth.
  • Apron fronts for kitchen giftsThe square proportions fit a standard apron bib really neatly, and the design is detailed enough to be a genuine talking point at kitchen gifts.
  • Embroidered patches on denim jacketsCut out as a patch and stitched or ironed onto a denim jacket pocket it has that handmade boutique quality thats hard to get with print.
  • Fun gift bags for Galentine's DaySmaller sizes on simple kraft or fabric gift bags turn a plain container into part of the gift presentation for a Galentine's gathering.
  • Pillow covers for a playful bedroom lookOn a white or cream pillow cover the green and red sit warmly without being aggressively seasonal, working well past February.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
