Heres the crazy hair bird and honestly its absurd in the best way. Round chunky body, tiny pink legs sticking down, an orange beak hanging open like the bird just got told some real shocking news. And the head feathers, those are the joke. Long swirling grey and black feathers explode upward and outward in a real wild mess.

One eye is wide and shocked, a tiny black monocle hangs off the other side, kinda like a confused gentleman pigeon. Pink cheeks blush across the face. The body is shaded grey with charcoal feather-line detail running through it. Its got that vintage cartoon-club vibe, like a character ya might see on the cover of a british satire magazine from the 1920s.

I get messages from gift-shop owners all the time asking for funny animal designs that are not generic. So this is the one I send em. My uncle runs a print stall and ordered six reprints in march for fathers day novelty mugs. Real winner.

Eleven colours run through the fill across 9 sizes. Stitch range goes 20,728 to 54,781 stitches. But density only sits at 1230 spi so its workable on most fabric. Stitch on cream cotton, soft grey or white tees so the orange beak and pink cheeks pop. Skip black or navy, the grey feather mass disappears.

Use a medium cutaway stabiliser on woven cotton, tear-away on canvas tote, topping on terry. Hoop firm because the wild hair has tight angle changes thatll pucker on loose fabric. And avoid stretch jersey, the feathers come out abit messy thats just how it goes. Reach out via the listing comments if your hoop puckers under the fill.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
