This bird is round, its grumpy, its a cartoon, and its honestly one of the funniest little things in the catalog. The body is almost a perfect circle, big round belly, tiny stubby wings that clearly cant do much flying. The face is where the personality lives, those oversized circular eyes with a slightly raised inner brow that makes the bird look permanently baffled or put out about something. Short blunt beak, little stick legs, the whole silhouette reads as comedy immediately.
14 colours sounds like alot for a cartoon bird but the depth comes from the eye detail, body shading, beak gradient, and wing accent colours. Stitch count is 10,590 at the small end and 27,196 at the largest 7.5 inch size. Width runs from 3.5 to 7.5 inches across 9 sizes, height tops out at 5.14 inches so its wider than tall at most sizes, which fits the chubby proportions perfectly. digitised in wilcom embroidery studio so the round body fill sits flat without rippling, the circular shape stays true even at the smaller sizes.
I get messages about this one fairly often, people have been using it on kids backpacks and it works really well there. A customer last month ordered it for a whole class worth of personalised pencil cases, she said the kids picked it over every other option when theyd been shown the different designs. Use a medium cutaway stabiliser on cotton or canvas, tearaway works on the lighter sizes if the fabric is sturdy enough.
Pop it on a white or yellow background for maximum cartoon impact. Works on shirts, tote bags, patches, hats. Pair it with a speech bubble text patch for a funny personalised gift idea.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
