This Christmas chicken family design is kinda the one I pull out whenever someone's shopping for a gift and has no idea what to get a farm-loving mate. 8 colors, 4 sizes up to a 6.4-inch width, and the stitch counts run between about 22,000 and 42,000 so its a comfortable mid-complexity job on any decent machine. The rooster stands taller in the centre with two hens flanked either side, all 3 wearing Santa hats, wattles bright red, beaks yellow and wide like theyre about to start carolling.
The feather texture is where this one earns its price. Layered directional fill stitching gives the plumage actual depth rather than a flat solid block. Hooped on a tearaway with stable cotton backing and it runs clean. Id say run a test swatch first on your fabric choice since the lighter cream feather tones can bleed slightly into off-white textiles if your tensions off. Density sits at 881 so its not punishing on your machine either.
This last holiday season I had people ordering this for tea towels, aprons, kids jumpers, you name it. Wanna stick it on a cream linen napkin set for a farm-themed Christmas table? Looks brilliant. Stitch it on a dark green sweatshirt and the red hats really read from across the room. Use the 3.84-inch size for a shirt pocket or the 6.4 for a full centrepiece patch.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
