Round fluffy chickens tangled in christmas lights. Thats the whole concept and it works every single time. Three or four birds all wound up in the same strand of fairy lights, bulbs glowing between them, each chicken looking like it has absolutely no idea how it happened. The expressions on the birds faces carry the whole joke, those wide eyes and slightly open beaks.
Thirteen colours in total and a stitch count that goes from 25k at the 3.5 inch smallest up to 63k at the full 7.5 inch version. Its a dense design, 1,314 average density, and you can tell when you look at the finished piece because the feather detail is proper, the light bulbs have real saturation and everything holds up like a quality illustration. Use a cutaway stabiliser on all fabrics, the stitch density needs solid support underneath. Hoop firmly and run it at slower speed.
Customers keep grabbing this for farm-themed holiday gifts since last christmas. One customer told me she runs a small egg farm and buys new christmas chicken designs every year for her staff gift shirts, and this design went straight to the top of her list. Its not just farming folk who want it, anyone who thinks chickens are funny will get it immediately.
Five sizes from 3.51 inches up to 7.51 inches wide. Works on navy, forest green, cream, oatmeal and white cotton fleece or jersey. Avoid very dark charcoal at the smaller sizes since the 13 colour details can compact and lose definition. The larger 6 to 7 inch sizes are where the design really shines, give it room to breathe.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
