Heres the funny crocodile trio and its just a lil bunch of goofs. Three cartoon gators stacked one on top of the other. Big toothy grins on every single one. Their snouts are long, eyes are wide and bulgy, and the bellies are a soft cream tone against the lime green backs. Real saturday morning cartoon vibes.
The drawing style stays loose and bouncy. Black outlines do most of the heavy lifting and the fills sit inside without trying too hard. Top crocodile gives ya a sideways smirk. Middle one is basically beaming. Bottom guy looks like he just heard a joke and cant get over it. Six colours total, mostly greens and cream with black detail and a touch of pink for the inside of the mouths.
I drew this trio for a customer last spring whos digitising swag for a kids reptile birthday. She wanted something that wouldnt scare the lil ones and this one nailed the brief. Since then I get messages from preschool teachers and nursery mums asking if they can pop it on apron pockets and tote bags. Yes ya can.
Stitch on light cotton for cleanest read. Pop it on a white tee, cream onesie, butter yellow apron, soft sage canvas tote. Skip dark navy or black because the cream bellies need a pale ground to show. Pair the bigger 7.5-inch on a kids hoodie back panel and the smaller 3.5-inch on a chest pocket or bib.
Density runs friendly at 26k stitches on the biggest size, just over 10k on the smallest. Use a medium tear-away on stable woven cotton, switch to cutaway stabiliser if youre hooping jersey or stretchy fleece. Hoop tight, the long crocodile bodies need it. If your machine grumbles at the stitch file just buzz me on chat and ill rework it same day.
What people are using this design for
A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.
- Kids reptile birthday teesStitch the 6-inch size on a butter yellow tee for a kids crocodile-themed birthday party. Photographs really well.
- Preschool name apronsPop a small 3.5-inch on a cream apron pocket and stack the kids name underneath in chain stitch.
- Nursery wall hoopsHoop the 7.5-inch in a wooden 8-inch frame and hang it above a toddlers reading nook for a cartoony focal piece.
- Cotton bibs for toddlersEmbroider a 4-inch version on a soft white cotton bib so the gator faces sit right under a babys chin.
- Daycare tote bagsSew the trio on a sage canvas tote and use it as the daycare welcome bag for new starters in september.
- Boys hoodie back panelsStitch the biggest size across the back of a forest green hoodie and the bottom crocodile lines up with the hem.
- Stuffed plush appliquesAdd the trio as an applique patch on a plush green dragon or croc soft toy and tack it down with satin edging.
- Library reading-corner cushionsEmbroider on a cream cushion cover for a school library reading corner. The kids point at the goofy faces.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
