Its a game controller that has completely lost the plot. The controller body has a cartoon face on it, eyes wide and bugged out, mouth stretched open in a full scream, and both fists flying up from the top of the casing. Chaos lines radiate outward like its vibrating with rage. The design uses thick outline work with solid fill in the face and body sections, white open spaces giving it that comic strip energy. Stitch it in black thread on a grey or white hoodie and it reads perfectly from a few feet away.

This one lands with a specific crowd, gamers, parents of gamers, anyone who knows that particular feeling of a controller session going completely off the rails. The face has enough exaggeration that it reads clearly even at the smaller 2.63-inch size. At the larger 4.87-inch width the clenched fists and the detailed controller buttons are properly visible and the expression really sells the joke.

4 sizes from 2.63 to 4.87 inches wide, tallish format because of the figure shooting upward. Stitches go from 7,915 at the smallest to 14,674 at the largest. The design is taller than it is wide, 3.5 to 5.5 inches in height, so check your hoop clearance at the bigger sizes before you start. Run heavy cutaway under knit fabric to stop the satin fill pulling. I get messages about this one fairly often from people making gifts for teenage kids and college students, especially in the weeks before christmas. Pop it on a black canvas tote and youve got an easy birthday present sorted.

Works best on things that end up visible up close, a hoodie chest, a bag flap, a desk patch, somewhere someone will actually see it and recognise the situation immediately.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Gamer hoodie or sweatshirt chest patchHoodies in black or dark grey take the black thread design well with cutaway under the knit fabric.
  • Gaming headset carry case or pouch frontSmall pouches at the 2.63-inch size fit the design neatly on a zippered flap without overpowering it.
  • Teen or young adult birthday gift on a tote bagCanvas tote bags in natural or black take the 4-inch size well; stitch it off-centre for a casual feel.
  • Gaming room throw pillow or cushion coverThe taller aspect ratio suits a pillow in portrait orientation or offset on a square cover.
  • Backpack front panel patch for a student or teenagerBackpack front panels in 600D polyester take firm tearaway well; use a top soluble layer on tight weaves.
  • Funny gift wrap patch sewn onto a plain gift bagStitch onto cotton fabric, cut out with a small seam, and machine stitch around the edge of a gift bag.
  • PC setup desk mat fabric panel accentA small canvas panel stitched and framed in a 5-inch hoop makes a fun desk decoration for a gaming setup.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
