Standing full upright with both stubby wings flung wide, one orange claw lifted mid-step, the whole pose reads like this bird just got startled by something very small. Eyes are massive, taking up almost half the head, each one a big white satin circle with a dark pupil dot dead centre and a thin black satin ring outlining it. Beak is a chunky orange wedge with an open-mouth look and thats what seals the panicked energy.
Body feathers are beige and warm tan filled with directional satin so individual feather shapes show when you look close. Head and neck have looser fringe fill threads sticking out at odd angles, like the bird forgot to sort itself out. Nine colours total and most of em are tonal variations of that beige-tan-brown family. Youve also got white for the eyes, orange for the beak and feet, and a dark outline thread tying the cartoon silhouette together.
Density is 833 stitches per square inch and the big 5.05 by 7.49 inch size tops out at 31,515 stitches, so it stitches at a moderate pace. Smallest size is 2.36 by 3.5 inches. Pop a midweight cutaway on woven cotton or canvas. Pick white, yellow, light blue or orange fabric, the warm tan colouring sings against those backgrounds. Skip dark grey or brown backgrounds, the body feathers go flat against similar tones.
People spot it on a bag or a shirt and just stop. The face does all the work. A customer last week said her kid saw it on a tote she was making and demanded one on the school bag by Monday. Its the kind of thing that works at any age as long as the person wearing it doesnt take themselves too seriously.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
