This cat is having a moment. Face-on portrait, eyes blown wide open like it just saw something horrifying, pink nose, mouth slightly parted. The tabby fur uses nine thread colors with heavy directional fill to get that layered, fluffy look across the brow and muzzle area. Dark brown stripes on the forehead, warm caramel on the face, lighter beige around the chin. Its a lot of stitches but the detail absolutely pays off at the larger sizes.
Stitch density sits at 1,242 average which is genuinely high. Thats what gives the fur that almost three-dimensional quality when its hooped up properly. Smallest version is 3.5 inches at about 22,000 stitches, largest goes to 7.5 at nearly 60,000 stitches. Lay cutaway under it on anything stretchy, and go sharp needle on the bigger sizes or you'll start getting skipped stitches in the dense fill sections. I sold a batch of these last christmas as personalised cat-owner gifts and the 6 inch versions on sweatshirts got the most comments. People kept stopping to look twice.
Skip dark fabrics unless you want to loose the caramel tones. White and pale grey are the best base fabrics. Pop it on the back panel of a tote for maximum impact, or center it on a cushion and let the expression do the talking. Most cat owners find the look immediately and personally relatable.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
