Theres a reindeer in the middle of this one holding two wine glasses, and honestly that sums up December pretty well. The word 'getting' arches across the top in chunky dark green satin letters, 'blitzened' curves around the bottom in red, and the reindeer sits right in the centre looking alot more festive than responsible. Its a pun, its a holiday mood, and its the kind of thing people actually want to wear at a Christmas party.

The lettering uses a bold filled satin stitch so it reads clearly even on smaller hooped sizes. Done in Wilcom EmbroideryStudio so the satin registration stays clean through all 3 colour stops. Dark green runs first, then red, then the small yellow accent. The density sits at 653 and the file comes in 4 sizes from 2.51 inches up to 5.51 inches wide. And because the shapes are relatively open with limited underlay complexity, it stitches out cleanly on most mid-weight fabrics.

A customer ordered the 3.5-inch size on a charcoal sweatshirt and said the green popped way more than expected on that background. Pair it with cutaway stabiliser on anything stretchy, satin stitch reads better when the base isnt moving around under the foot. Stitch the green section first, then swap to red for the lettering and the wine glass detail.

Use it on holiday party sweatshirts, Christmas pyjama tops, aprons for December gatherings, gift bags, or on tote bags you wrap as a present. Skip the topping on regular fleece, but add a layer of water-soluble topping if youre going onto terry cloth or any fabric with a noticeable texture.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Christmas party sweatshirtsThe bold satin lettering holds up well on fleece and French terry, and the 3-colour design stitches fast enough for small batch holiday orders.
  • Holiday pyjama topsWorks great on cotton pyjama sets, especially the top where theres a flat chest panel to hoop easily.
  • Festive aprons for December gatheringsThe round badge shape centres nicely on a bib apron front, and the dark green reads well against most apron colours.
  • Gift bags or wrapping accessoriesUse the smaller 2.51-inch size on gift bags, it fits neatly without overwhelming the fabric panel.
  • Tote bags as a Christmas giftThe 5.51-inch version fills a tote front nicely with the lettering arcing across the full width.
  • Wine-themed holiday cushion coversThe circular layout works well centred on a cushion cover, especially in holiday reds and greens.
  • Ugly sweater party topsThis is exactly the kind of design that lands on the ugly sweater circuit, wine glasses and a reindeer pun is a winning combo.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
