The butterfly is sitting right on top of the ghosts head like it owns the place. Hot pink wings, detailed enough to read as a butterfly but not so detailed it adds machine time. Orange flowers cluster around the bottom half of the ghost, petals done in satin fill, and theres teal-aqua leaves mixed in that give the whole thing a kinda garden party in October feel.

Five colours and 5 stops, so its not a fast run but its not punishing either. The orange petals are the most stitch-dense element, they need solid coverage to read as flowers rather than outlines. White ghost body needs a proper underlay before the fill goes in, Im talking at least 2 underlay passes on the larger hoop sizes or you get grey patchiness showing through. Aqua leaves are the smallest stitched element and honestly the colour that makes the piece, they stop it looking like a standard halloween design.

Stitch range is 9,077 at the 3-inch up to 28,824 at the 7-inch, so the larger sizes are a real project. One customer who makes seasonal market bags messaged me after running the 5-inch, said it needed about 25 minutes on her Janome and the result was worth every second. Use medium cutaway stabiliser throughout and hoop tight, because the satin in those flower petals can pull if the fabric moves mid-run.

Email me if the orange and aqua look muddy after stitching, usually thats a topping issue on textured fabric. Pop some tear-away topping over the hoop surface and the colour separation gets much cleaner. Skip anything stretchy on the bigger file sizes. This reads well on white, pale grey, pale lavender or any soft pastel.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
