Just two colours but theres a lot going on. The ghost is the tall kind with a rounded top and a draped skirt at the base, and the two black cats are sitting on either side of it like guards. Cats have that solid satin fill, fully black, tails curling out and eyes barely suggested by the shape of the face. The whole composition reads as one clean block from a metre away.
Two-colour designs are honestly my favourite to digitise for fabric because you cant hide behind colour variety. Everything has to sit right. The black satin uses directional fill on the cat bodies so you get a kinda subtle sheen change between the head and body even though its all one colour. That white body fill needs a good underlay so it doesnt look grey against light fabric. Send it on a dark coloured fabric and both elements pop hard.
Sizes run from 2.67 inches wide at 4,361 stitches up to 6.21 inches at 13,038. Honestly pretty light stitching for the area, so it sits flat without pulling even on mid-weight knits if you use cutaway stabiliser. A regular customer who makes halloween bags shared a snap of this on a black canvas tote last October and it looked spot on, that pale body against the dark fabric with the black cat silhouettes framing it on both sides, and she ordered three more colourways right after.
Best on dark fabric where the ghost form has real contrast. Run it on black, charcoal, deep navy or forest green. Avoid mid-tone greys because neither element has enough contrast to read cleanly against them. Hoop firmly so the satin doesnt drift on the bigger sizes. Skip anything that stretches, the wide satin coverage on the cats wont hold its shape on jersey.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
