Four dogs, standing up, all wearing ghost costumes, all holding their little pumpkin buckets out at the same level like theyre posing for a halloween family photo. Thats the charm of this one. The eye holes in each sheet are cut differently depending on the breed, and you can see different muzzle shapes in the gaps. Bats hang in the space above. White stars dot the scene. Paw prints sit along the bottom. It works as a unit, not just four separate dogs in a row.

Six colours here, which is actually alot more than you get with most ghost costume designs. The white ghost sheets have a taupe grey shading on the folds so they dont look flat. Each dogs visible muzzle area uses a warm tan brown that reads clearly even at the 4-inch size. The jack-o-lantern buckets are stitched in solid orange satin fill with black face details. Wilcom digitised the shading on the sheets using a low-density fill rather than heavy satin columns, which keeps the ghost costume texture looking soft and draping rather than rigid. Stitch count goes from 10,688 at 4 inches to 20,297 at 7 inches.

A halloween bartender I know runs a popup cocktail bar every october and had me stitch this on his apron last year. He said customers keep asking if he did it himself, which he takes as a compliment. He wanted something that read as a halloween design but wasnt just pumpkins and bats. The squad element meant it worked as a conversation piece. send me message if you want the file remapped for a narrower hoop and ill check if the 4-inch fits your machine minimum.

Avoid heavy linen or burlap for this one because the subtle shading in the ghost sheet folds wont register on rough-weave fabrics. Cotton twill or canvas works best. Cutaway stabiliser underneath so the wide banner shape doesnt shift during hooping. Run the 7-inch across a black apron bib at full width, or use the 4-inch on a shirt pocket placement if you want something less shouty. The paw prints at the base need a tearaway edge around them or they can drift on loose weave.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
