Right so this ghost isnt trying to scare anyone. Its a chubby little thing with a round head, two small oval eyes punched in black satin, and a gentle curved smile that says more nervous-at-a-party than haunted-house. The body drapes downward in those classic wavy ghost tails, but the lower section gets proper treatment with layered grey tatami fill that creates actual shadow depth. So the white upper body sort of floats above the grey drapery and the whole thing has a lil bit of dimension to it rather than looking flat.

Three colours total: white for the main body, mid grey for the shadow drape sections, black for the outline and eyes. Density is high at 953 stitches per square inch because theres alot of that shadow fill packed into the bottom third. Stitch count runs from 5,753 on the smallest to 14,442 on the big 4-inch version. Wilcom EmbroideryStudio digitising means the underlay is proper so the white body sits fully opaque even on coloured fabric, which matters when youre going onto orange or black Halloween material.

Sizes run 2.01 by 1.89 inches up to 4.01 by 3.78, so theres a pocket-size version and a shirt-chest version in the set. A customer ordered the medium a couple seasons back for a batch of trick-or-treat bags she made for her daughters class, white ghost on black canvas bags. She said kids were grabbing them off the table before the event even started. Hoop with a medium cutaway stabiliser, use a topping on dark or textured fabric so the white fill doesnt sink into the base.

Put this on kids Halloween shirts, trick-or-treat tote bags, fabric bunting, throw pillow covers or black canvas pouches. It stitches clean on quilting cotton, canvas and felt. Go slowly on the dense grey section if your machine tends to skip on high-density runs, dropping your speed to around 600 SPM keeps it tidy.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
