This lil ghost design I worked up back in september when one customer asked for somethin halloween that didnt scare her toddler. The cute side of halloween moves way faster than the spooky side for the kids market, and ya the friendly ghost cradling a pumpkin is basically the platonic ideal of that vibe. I get messages every fall asking for kid-friendly designs and this one fills the gap.
Stitch counts run 4133 to 20030 across five sizes. Widths span from 2.01 to 6.01 inches with matching heights. Three colours: cream, orange, and sage green. Density set to 555 spi which holds the soft rounded shapes without overcrowding. go heavy cutaway for stretch garments like tees and onesies, tearaway for woven bags aswell as canvas pouches. Hoop firm and use water-soluble topping if youre stitching on terry or fleece. Heres a tip from a customer who tried em on flannel.
Id a bunch of customers run this on baby onesies for first halloween photos last october. One customer ordered the 2 inch version for matching family bibs. Another did the 6 inch on a felt trick-or-treat tote. The smaller sizes sit clean on a chest pocket or sleeve, medium suits a left chest, and the largest fills a tote panel or a hoodie front centre.
The pumpkin orange thread might read different across thread brands so check ya colour chart before final stitch out. The ghost cream sits well on dark backgrounds, dont try it on cream fabric cause it disappears. The sage stem is small enough that contrasting fabric matters less.
