My niece is sixteen and she pointed at her phone one day and said, that ghost is literally me. Thats pretty much why I made this one. Ghost on the phone, 9 colours, 14,832 stitches at a density of 205, so its a real dense fill, not a basic outline job. Wilcom did the digitising and the underlay on the ghost body is layered properly so the white satin sits smooth without showing the fabric underneath.
Its 3.5 inches wide by 3.2 inches tall, so it fills a left-chest or centre-chest placement well without overwhelming the piece. The phone detail has its own fill with some directional stitching to give it dimension, and the glowing screen edge comes through with a separate colour stop, nine colours total means you'll be doing a few thread changes, but each one is worth it for the result. Back with medium cutaway on woven fabrics, and add topping on anything with texture.
I had a customer email me back in october last year, she stitched this on black hoodies for a group halloween costume where they all went as "ghosts texting" and it was, honestly, actually funny. Hoop your fabric tight and use cutaway, the dense fill areas need a stable base or you'll get some puckering around the phone edges. Avoid too-thin fabrics for this one, the bobbin tension is worth double-checking before you run it.
