This one is for the people who put up fall decorations in September and have a pumpkin spice latte in hand by the time they do it. The ghost is holding a coffee cup -- not a pumpkin, not a bag of candy -- a takeout cup with a little carved pumpkin face printed on it. Bats circle around the outside, little sparkle diamonds are scattered in the gaps. Its a very specific vibe and the customers who like it, realy like it.
Three 3 colours and two colour changes keep the hoop time short: the blush tone is a pale pink wash, the orange is a warm mid-range (Madeira code 12 on the worksheet), and black handles all the outlines and the bat fills. Stitch range is 4,970 at the smallest 2.51-inch size going up to 11,248 at 5.51 inches. Density sits at 422 points so a standard medium cutaway keeps everything flat on cotton twill or a woven tea towel base.
Best application this autumn is on a rust-coloured linen tea towel -- the black outlines against rust reads like a vintage Halloween poster. Pop it at the lower third of the towel so it shows when draped over an oven handle. Use a tear-away stabiliser on the back of woven linen rather than cutaway -- it peels clean and keeps the towel drape flexible.
One customer stitched the 4.84-inch tall version on a set of 4 matching tea towels for a coffee bar tray and said guests kept picking them up to look closer. Stitch all 4 before washing or finishing the edges so you dont fight the stabiliser remnants later. Text me through the shop chat if your download didnt come through and Ill get it resent immediately.
What people are using this design for
A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.
- Fall coffee bar tea towel in rust linen that stays up from October through NovemberRun the 5.51-inch wide file centred on the lower third of a 16x24-inch linen towel with tearaway backing, press after stitching before hemming.
- Halloween kitchen apron with the design placed at the bib pocket areaHoop the 4-inch mid-size on the bib area of a canvas apron, cutaway backing, the bats scatter nicely across the flat apron surface.
- Tote bag for a coffee-obsessed friend with a October birthdayUse the 5.51-inch version on a natural canvas tote, black and orange thread on cream canvas reads well -- stitch before sewing the bag handles.
- Matching set of fall kitchen towels stitched all at once before hemmingStitch 4 identical pieces on a continuous strip of woven cotton before cutting -- saves re-hooping time and keeps placement consistent.
- Pillow cover for a fall coffee corner shelf displayUse a 4-inch square of heavy cotton canvas for a pillow front, stitch centred, back with coordinating black linen.
- Mug rug set for a Halloween-themed desk or coffee station at homeCut 4x4-inch squares of heavy woven cotton, stitch the 3-inch file on each, bind the edges after pressing -- quick gift set.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
