Sketched this one out wanting just the two characters together with nothing extra around them. Ghost is kinda just sitting on the pumpkin like its a lil throne, body all rounded and squat, two dark eye holes giving it that classic sheeted-ghost look. No witch hat, no scene, no trees. Really really just ghost on pumpkin.

I ran Wilcom for the file, directional fill going top to bottom on the white ghost body so it catches the light evenly across the whole shape. Pink blush dots are tiny satin fills, only 74 stitches in the 2 inch version but they add a lot of character. Aqua collar accent where the ghost meets the pumpkin helps separate the two elements visually so they dont merge into each other even on stretchy fleece. Use cutaway here on anything with any give to it. Skip tearaway on jersey or fleece entirely.

Four sizes from 2 inch up to 5 inch, so Im gonna say this one is the most versatile in the ghost range for smaller items. The 2-inch version fits a onesie chest patch, a hat brim, pretty much anything. One customer wanted it on a set of baby burp cloths and the 2-inch was perfect for corner placement. Pop it on a tote at 4 inch and it reads just as well from a distance.

Pair it with a name block inside a simple text frame if you want a personalised halloween piece. Add cutaway backing first, stitch the name, then hoop again for the ghost design centred above or below.

Reach out if anything looks off and Ill take another look.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Baby and toddler halloween onesies and bibsAt 2 inch this fits neatly on an onesie chest or bib corner with standard tearaway stabiliser on woven cotton
  • Halloween hat brim or beanie front embroideryThe 2-inch size also works for hat brim placement where hoop space is tight and a small stitch count matters
  • Trick-or-treat bags and small canvas pouchesGhost-plus-pumpkin pair fills a tote front panel well stitching at 4 or 5 inch without needing extra elements
  • Seasonal throw pillow accent designsOn a canvas pillow with cutaway backing the 5-inch version sits as a clean centred motif for October decor
  • Kids sweatshirt chest or sleeve placementLeft sleeve placement on a kids sweatshirt at 3 inch keeps the design visible without overwhelming the garment
  • Halloween baby burp cloths and muslin squaresBurp cloths in white or cream terry take the orange pumpkin colour well, no topping needed on woven fabric
  • Embroidery hoop wall art for nursery October decorScaled 5 inch with black felt backing makes a simple Halloween nursery wall piece

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
